The place
Front tree of 1800 Bushnell Avenue, a 1910 Craftsman house listed in the Inventory of Historic Resources of South Pasadena, in the Wayne/Bushnell/Fletcher district, and former residence of the chief designer of Union Station. The curb in front of the tree bears an inscription engraved by the owner in the fresh cement during the gutter repair, approved by the city after being reported by the site inspector.
