This site has no accounts, sets no cookies and sells nothing to anyone. Here is what it does with your data, in detail.
No cookies
This site sets no cookies, neither for advertising nor for analytics. That is why you see no consent banner.
What your browser remembers
Two preferences stay on your device: the theme (light, dark or your system’s) and the basemap (plan or satellite).
They are never sent to the server, and clearing the site’s data removes them.
Audience measurement
We count visits with Umami, installed on our own server. It uses no cookie, follows nobody across sites, and keeps no plain IP address.
We only read totals from it: page views, country, device.
Server logs
Every request leaves a technical line: IP address, page requested, browser, date. It is there for security and troubleshooting.
These logs are deleted after seven days.
Outside services
Film posters come from TMDB, the basemap from OpenFreeMap, satellite imagery from Esri, and place search from Photon (Komoot).
These services receive your IP address because your browser asks them directly for an image or an answer. Place search also receives what you type.
The map only calls them when you use it.
