The place
Barbican Centre, in the City of London: theatres, a symphonic hall, cinemas, and a museum, the largest complex of this kind in Europe. Opened in 1982 according to the designs of the agency Chamberlin, Powell and Bon, this Grade II listed building is one of the landmarks of British brutalism.
