The place
A work of architect François Mansart, the Château de Villette commands a 77-hectare estate in Condécourt, in the Vexin region; it is protected as a historical monument, both by classification and registration. Highly sought after by stage directors, it hosted Audrey Hepburn for Stanley Donen's Two for the Road, served as a setting for the adaptation of The Da Vinci Code, and was renamed Château de Moulinsart for Tintin and the Golden Fleece.
