The place
Built in 1917 by William Edward Willink, Philip Coldwell Thicknesse, and Arthur Joseph Davis for the Cunard Line shipping company, this Grade II* listed building combines Greek inspiration and Neo-Renaissance style; along with the Royal Liver Building and the Port of Liverpool Building, it forms the trio known as the "Three Graces" of Liverpool's waterfront.
