The place
Gothic cathedral dedicated to Saint Barbara, patron saint of miners; a UNESCO-listed masterpiece and emblem of Kutná Hora. Designed by architect Johann Parler the Younger and dating from 1400, this church is classified as a national cultural monument and represents a major example of Czech Gothic architecture. Its inscription as a World Heritage site dates back to 1995.
