The place
Midtown Manhattan is formed by the intersection of Broadway, 6th Avenue, and 34th Street, dominated by Macy's flagship store. Built in 1901 by architect Theodore de Lemos, the building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and holds the status of National Historic Landmark.
