The place
Belle Époque Palace inaugurated in 1911 on the Croisette in Cannes, with its two iconic domes, is a major venue for the International Film Festival. Designed by architect Charles Dalmas in Art Deco Belle Époque style, it is a listed historic monument and holds the label Heritage of the 20th century.
