The place
19th-century town mansion in St James's, with sumptuous interiors often used as palace scenery in cinema. Designed by Benjamin Dean Wyatt and completed in 1840 in the neoclassical style, it is classified as a Grade I listed building. Begun in 1825, the building is now managed by the British Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
