Cinema palace from 1931 on South Broadway, featuring opulent French neo-baroque decor; one of the great historic movie palaces of Los Angeles. It is the work of architects S. Charles Lee and Samuel Tilden Norton, and is listed among the Historic-Cultural Monuments of Los Angeles.
