The place
Marin County Administrative Center, the last major work of Frank Lloyd Wright (completed in 1962 after his death), emblem of his organic architecture with long arcades and a blue roof. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, designated as a California Historical Landmark and a National Historic Landmark, and is included on the tentative list for World Heritage.
