National Museum in the Neo-Renaissance style overlooking Wenceslas Square, inaugurated in 1891. National museum and research structure, this institution also plays a role as a publishing house in the scientific field. The institution was founded in 1818, well before the building that houses it, recognized as a national cultural monument since 1962.
