The place
National Archives of the United States, located on Pennsylvania Avenue, which houses the originals of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Designed by architect John Russell Pope and completed in 1931, this neoclassical architecture building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and holds the status of a National Historic Landmark.
