The place
Place du 5e dominated by the Panthéon, the necropolis of great men. The Panthéon was built starting in 1758 by architects Jacques-Germain Soufflot, Jean-Baptiste Rondelet, and Maximilien Brébion, and exhibits a neoclassical architectural style classified as a historical monument.
