The place
The Church of the Cité de Londres was rebuilt by Christopher Wren after the Great Fire; its bells define the 'true Cockney'. Rebuilt in 1681, it is a Grade I listed historical monument. It stands on Cheapside and is an example of English Baroque architecture.
