The place
Grand mountain lodge made of wood and stone (1937) perched at 1,800 m on the south side of Mount Hood in Oregon. The lodge was designed by architects Gilbert Stanley Underwood and William Irving Turner and holds the status of National Historic Landmark and registration in the National Register of Historic Places.
