Former two-level hunting lodge built in 1915, named Sassacus Hunting Lodge in 1936 and then Bromica Lodge in 1955. The lodge and its outbuildings were demolished in 2009; a new house now occupies the property, at the edge of North Spectacle Pond.
The scene : The camp where Paul trains his counselors, next to the abandoned Camp Crystal Lake. Around the campfire, Paul tells the legend of Jason. The lodge reappears throughout the film, from its interior staircase at the back where Ginny escapes from Jason; around it, Paul's cabin, where he lectures Ginny for being late, and the cottage where Vicki goes to change before discovering the bodies. The counselors' night swim and the double impalement are filmed there, and Ginny leaves in an ambulance in one of the final shots.
