Century House (South Pasadena)

Saltbox-style house from the late 19th century, counted among the oldest in South Pasadena. Threatened with demolition in 1987, it was purchased for one dollar by David Margrave, then moved one block south onto railroad land at the corner of Mission Street and Meridian Avenue. It now houses offices.
The scene : The building filmed as the Myers' house: its interior hosts the opening long take in subjective camera, where young Michael kills his sister Judith, and its dilapidated facade reappears in the present-day scenes. It was relocated here after filming.
709 Meridian Avenue (South Pasadena)
