Le Club Banque, a gay club in the 8th arrondissement, occupied an old bank and extended under three buildings. It has since closed permanently, and a restaurant has taken its place at this address.
The scene : Renamed the Rectum for the film, this gay club with labyrinthine basements is the scene of the ultra-violent murder that opens the narrative, told in reverse: Marcus and Pierre came here to enact their own justice.

Underground pedestrian passage that crossed Boulevard Berthier, with an entrance at no. 27 and the other opposite, at no. 118. The City of Paris removed it a few years after the film's release: it was demolished in 2008-2009.
