The scene : The "New York Museum," where Dr. Loomis sadly dismantles a display of sauropods, is the Painted Hall at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich.

The scene : The grand sets of the film — the InGen facility, the abandoned gas station, the rock temple, and the 15-meter cliff face — were built at the recent Sky Elstree studios in Borehamwood.

Waltham Cross, United Kingdom

The scene : The white-water chase, where the Delgado family's inflatable raft is pursued by the T-Rex, was filmed at the Lee Valley White Water Centre, with the concrete dressed in fake rocks and enhanced with CGI.

The scene : The sea scenes of the 'Essex' and the Delgado's cruise ship were filmed off Malta, in the famous water basins of the Malta Film Studios, designed to blend with the horizon of the sea.
