The scene : The house where Claire is forcibly taken, and from which she will eventually escape.

Vaulnaveys-le-Haut, France

The scene : The establishment where Claire is placed once she has escaped from the house where she was being kept hidden.

Lyon, France

Former theater, music hall then cinema in the 3rd arrondissement of Lyon, built in 1894 by architect Claudius Porte at 33 cours Gambetta, on the site of an old brewery. Listed as a historical monument in 1982, it was demolished in March 1993 and removed from the inventory in 2010: nothing remains of the building.

The scene : Long indoor sequence: Lady Vamos, who once ran a circus, pulls Claire from the clutches of the heirs chasing after her.

Milan, Italy

Monumental railway station in Milan inaugurated in 1931, featuring a vast hall covered with steel and glass vaults. Designed by architect Ulisse Stacchini, it is a terminal station with tracks that end in a cul-de-sac.

The scene : Under the glass roof, Claire crosses paths with a woman whose mind is disturbed.

Écully, France

The scene : The secluded residence, situated in Switzerland according to the narrative: Claire inherited it from a greedy aunt and finds herself locked inside.

Bron, France

Neurological and Neurosurgical Hospital of the Lyon conurbation, located on Boulevard Pinel in Bron.

The scene : The surroundings and interior of the hospital depict the psychiatric institution where Claire is committed by her aunt.
