Former holiday village located by the lagoon in Assouindé, in the Assinie region. A simple place for dining and refreshments open to Abidjan day-trippers on weekends, it has never had a true hotel vocation. Closed in 2005 amidst political crises that negatively affected Ivorian tourism, it has been overrun by vegetation and is now a near ghost town.
The scene : Renamed "Galaswinda" in the film, this Ivorian holiday village on the edge of the lagoon is the only setting of the feature film: it is here that the group of tourists and their G.O. experience their week of tragicomic vacation.
