Former launch complex 571-7, this site is the only one of the fifty-four Titan II ballistic missile silos in Arizona to have escaped the dismantling that followed the program's end in the 1980s. It is now open for visits as a museum, including the missile.
The scene : The underground silo housing the Phoenix, the first warp vessel built by Zefram Cochrane, is an authentic Titan II ballistic missile launch complex, only slightly modified at the tip of the craft. The production filmed the sequences leading to the launch there.

Grand Art Deco railway station in Los Angeles, opened in 1939. It is designated as a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and features a neo-colonial Hispanic architectural style.
The scene : The Art Deco restaurant of the station transforms into a 1940s ballroom: this is the setting for the holoprogram Dixon Hill, where Picard trains Lily Sloane to evade a Borg drone.
