Former village of a cotton mill built in 1905 on the Henry River. The factory building burned down in 1977; the brick general store and about twenty of the thirty-five houses built for the workers remain.
The scene : The abandoned worker village becomes District 12: Katniss spends her last moments there with her mother and sister before the Reaping, and her home is recognized as the Mellark bakery.
