The place
Residence of thirty rooms built in 1909 for the industrialist Alexander Duncan McRae, in the Shaughnessy neighborhood. Offered to the state in 1942 and then sold in 1962 to the University Women's Club for one dollar, it is designated a national historic site of Canada.
