The place
Former musette dance hall of the Marais that became a nightclub, known as the Tango and nicknamed the Boîte à frissons. The building bears the numbers 11-13 on rue au Maire; the club is announced at 11. Bought by the City of Paris, it reopened in March 2023 and has since been operated as a cooperative.
