The place
Pavilion No. 36 of the Zagreb Fair, completed in 1957 according to the designs of Božidar Rašica, one of the fathers of Croatian modernism and a member of the EXAT 51 group. A large volume of steel and glass, its double-level roof is suspended from exterior beams, freeing the interior from any support and opening it widely to light; it hosted exhibitors of mechanical engineering and heavy metallurgy.
