The place
Victorian house decor built in 1959 on the Universal backlot from standard studio elements to reduce costs; its facade and turret replicate those of the house from the film Harvey (1950), which stood on Colonial Street. Originally a simple two-faced shell, it received its right wall in 1963 for Invitation to a Gunfighter, followed by its rear in 1983 for Psycho II — it now has four sides and a roof, distinguishing it from the facades of the lot. Moved three times, it now sits near Old Falls Lake, restored, alongside a portion of the motel. A major attraction of the Tram Tour since 1964.
